I work with women who are ready to reconnect with their bodies and support their health from the inside out.
Many of the women I work with are navigating stress, anxiety, fertility journeys, hormonal imbalances, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause or simply feeling disconnected from themselves. Others come because they're looking for a more holistic approach to their wellbeing.
Wherever you're starting from, my aim is to help you better understand your body and give you practical tools to support it.
-
I don't believe that wellbeing is about fixing your body, rigid schedules or expensive gadget, I believe it's about learning to understand yourself from the inside out.
Everything I offer is rooted in an inside-out approach, bringing together Yin Yoga, TRE®, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to support the whole person rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
Whether we're working with movement or acupuncture, my goal is always the same: to help you reconnect with your body, understand what it's communicating and create the conditions for lasting health and balance.
-
We live in a world that constantly encourages us to focus on the outside. How we look. What we weigh. What we wear. Whether we're ageing "well". What other people think of us. We're often encouraged to change our bodies before we've even taken the time to listen to them.
That used to be me. But now, my approach is different.
Inside Out is about turning your attention inward. It's about reconnecting with your body, understanding what it needs and building a relationship based on trust rather than criticism.
Whether we're practising Yin Yoga, learning TRE®, receiving acupuncture or attending a retreat, my work is designed to help you feel at home in your body. Together, we explore your nervous system, your hormones, your emotions and your health - not with the goal of changing how you look, but with the intention of helping you feel stronger, calmer, more balanced, in flow and more connected from within.
Because when we start caring for ourselves from the inside out, the outside often takes care of itself.

Yin Yoga helps you slow down and reconnect with your body. TRE® supports your nervous system in releasing tension. Acupuncture works from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective to restore balance and support your individual health concerns.
Together, they create a holistic, body-first approach that supports your wellbeing from multiple angles. You can access all my offerings on one of my retreats.

While everyone is welcome in my Yin Yoga and TRE® classes, the majority of my work is centred around women's health.
My retreats, specialist programmes and acupuncture practice have a particular focus on supporting women through the different seasons of life, including menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and perimenopause. -
I'm based in Brighton, where I offer in-person classes, retreats and acupuncture.
I also work with women across the UK and beyond through my online Yin Yoga classes and TRE® programmes, and retreat offerings.
Acupunture
-
Acupuncture is a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), a complete healing system that has been practised for thousands of years.
It involves the gentle insertion of very fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, these points lie along pathways called meridians, through which Qi (energy) and Blood flow. By stimulating specific acupuncture points, treatment aims to restore balance and support the body's natural ability to heal.
From a modern scientific perspective, acupuncture has been shown to influence the nervous system and stimulate the release of the body's own natural chemicals, helping to regulate pain, reduce inflammation, improve circulation and support overall wellbeing.
The style of acupuncture I practice is Traditional Chinese Medicine, which takes a whole-person approach. Rather than focusing on a single symptom or area of pain, we look at the bigger picture - your sleep, digestion, menstrual cycle, energy, stress levels, lifestyle and emotional wellbeing - to understand what's happening beneath the surface.
This means every treatment is tailored to you. Two people may come to me with the same symptoms but receive completely different treatments because the underlying pattern of imbalance is unique to each individual.
-
Acupuncture is commonly used to support a wide range of health concerns. I have a particular interest in women's health, fertility, nervous system regulation and stress-related conditions.
Many people come to see me for support with menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy, perimenopause, stress, anxiety, sleep, headaches, digestive concerns and persistent pain.
Every treatment is tailored to you, so rather than treating a diagnosis alone, we explore what may be contributing to your symptoms and create a treatment plan that reflects your individual needs.
-
Most people are surprised by how gentle acupuncture feels. The needles are incredibly fine - much thinner than those used for injections or blood tests, and many people barely feel them being inserted.
As the needles begin to work, you might notice sensations such as warmth, tingling, heaviness or a gentle dull ache. These are all completely normal and are often a sign that your body is responding to the treatment.
If you feel nervous, that's completely understandable. I'll explain each step of the treatment, answer any questions you have, and work at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My aim is for you to feel safe, relaxed and supported throughout the session.
-
Yes. Acupuncture is very safe when performed by a fully qualified practitioner using sterile, single-use needles.
I trained for three years at the City College of Acupuncture, a British Acupuncture Accreditation Board (BAAB) accredited college, and I'm a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the UK's largest professional body for traditional acupuncturists.

Your first appointment lasts around 90 minutes.
We'll begin with an in-depth consultation where we'll explore your main concerns, alongside your menstrual cycle, sleep, digestion, energy, stress levels, emotions and lifestyle.
I'll also carry out an assessment using pulse and tongue diagnosis before creating a treatment plan tailored specifically to you.
You'll then receive your first acupuncture treatment, followed by aftercare advice and recommendations. Follow-up appointments will be 60-minutes.
-
Every person is different, so there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer.
This depends on your reason for treatment, how long you've been experiencing your symptoms, and your goals for treatment.
After your initial consultation, I'll recommend a treatment and we'll review your progress together as your body responds
-
Yes. If you don't live locally - or you'd simply prefer to meet from the comfort of your own home - I offer online women's health consultations.
These sessions are an opportunity to slow down, explore what's really going on beneath your symptoms, and gain a deeper understanding of your body. Drawing on Traditional Chinese Medicine, tongue diagnosis, women's health and nervous system regulation, we'll look at the bigger picture, exploring your menstrual cycle, sleep, digestion, stress, energy, lifestyle and overall wellbeing.
Together, we'll create a personalised plan with simple, realistic steps that feel achievable and fit into your everyday life.
The consultation follows the same in-depth structure as my initial acupuncture appointments, minus the treatment itself. After your session, you'll receive a personalised follow-up with your action plan, session notes and any relevant resources to support you moving forward.
-
When you come for acupuncture, you're not just receiving a treatment - you're working with someone who brings together Traditional Chinese Medicine, nervous system regulation, Yin Yoga, TRE® and a deep understanding of women's health through both Western and Eastern approaches.
These different disciplines don't exist in isolation. They each shape the way I understand the body, allowing me to see the bigger picture and support you in a way that's truly personalised.
I don't believe health is about fixing your body or simply chasing symptoms. Nor do I believe it needs to be complicated, restrictive or filled with expensive supplements and the latest wellness gadgets.
Instead, my approach is body-first. In therapy terms, you might call it bottom-up. I believe your body is constantly communicating with you, and my role is to help you understand what it's saying.
-
Absolutely, many of my clients choose to combine these practices, as each one supports you in a different way.
Acupuncture works to restore balance from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, helping to support your body's natural healing processes.
Yin Yoga creates space to slow down, improve mobility and nourish both the body and nervous system through mindful movement and stillness.
TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) helps the body release deep patterns of stress and tension, supporting nervous system regulation from the bottom up.
Together, they offer a powerful, body-first approach that helps you feel healthier, calmer and more connected, from the inside out.
If you'd like ongoing support, you're also invited to join Inside Out, my online studio membership. It's an online space where you can continue your journey at home with a growing library of Yin Yoga classes, TRE® sessions, and women's health education, TCM lifestyle support and acupressure giving you the tools to better understand and support your body every day.
Yin Yoga
-
Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative style of yoga that focuses on long-held, passive stretches. Rather than building strength through movement, Yin invites you to slow down, soften and gently work into the body's connective tissues, including the fascia, ligaments and joints.
We start our classes with some gentle movement to help you land in, and then each Yin posture is held for several minutes, giving your body time to release tension while your mind has the opportunity to settle. It's a practice of slowing down, tuning in and creating space - physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically.
-
Unlike more dynamic styles such as Vinyasa or Power Yoga, Yin Yoga is about stillness and space rather than movement.
Poses are held for longer (typically 3–5 minutes), allowing the deeper tissues of the body to gradually release. There's no pressure to keep up, look a certain way or hold complicated shapes. Instead, the focus is on finding your own edge, supporting your nervous system and cultivating awareness of how your body feels.
Many people find Yin Yoga to be the perfect balance to busy modern life.
-
My classes are rooted in traditional Yin Yoga, but they're also deeply informed by my training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture, and in Fertility Yoga.
Rather than simply guiding you through stretches, I help you understand what's happening within your body. We explore the meridian pathways, how different organs are understood within Chinese medicine, the connection between emotions and physical health, and how our energy naturally changes with the seasons and menstrual cycle.
It's a body-first approach that invites you to become more connected, more informed and more compassionate towards yourself.
-
Of course! You don't need to be flexible to practise Yin Yoga. Every posture can be adapted using props such as bolsters, blocks and blankets so that your body feels supported.
Yin Yoga isn't about touching your toes or achieving the "perfect" pose. It's about turning your awareness inside, listening to your body and meeting yourself exactly where you are.
-
Yes. Yin Yoga is suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced students. I'll guide you through each posture, so you can move at your own pace and adjust the practice to suit your body. There's no expectation to know yoga terminology or have previous experience.
-
For online Yin Yoga, please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily, you don’t need to wear tight clothing and, since our class is at night, pyjamas are very welcomed!
For the class, you will need a yoga mat and some supportive props, like blocks and bolsters. A blanket and eye mask for savasana can also be nice.
If you don't have yoga props, you can things you have a home: cushions or pillows from your bed or sofa or folded blankets. The most important thing is creating a comfortable space where you can fully relax.
I share a playlist so having a Bluetooth speaker to play this on can support the class.
-
Yes, many women find Yin Yoga especially supportive during their menstrual cycle.
Practising gently can help ease tension, reduce stress, support blood flow, and encourage you to slow down and listen to your body's changing needs. I always encourage you to honour how you're feeling on the day and modify or rest whenever you need to.
-
If you're pregnant, it's important to let me know before joining a class. My online Yin Yoga class is not a pregnancy class but with adaptions, it is safe for pregnancy. However, as needs change across each trimester, it is important you understand what you need depending on your stage of pregnancy and your previous yoga experience.
If you're unsure, please get in touch before booking and I'll be happy to advise.
-
Many people come to Yin Yoga because they're feeling overwhelmed, burnt out or constantly "on." The slow pace of the practice, combined with mindful breathing and stillness, can help calm the nervous system, reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, and create space to reconnect with yourself.

Women's bodies move through constant cycles and transitions, from menstruation and fertility to pregnancy, postpartum and perimenopause.
My classes are designed with these changing seasons of life in mind. Influenced by Traditional Chinese Medicine, I encourage you to work with your body rather than against it, honouring your energy, your menstrual cycle and your individual needs.
Rather than striving for perfection or looking a certain way from the outside, Yin Yoga becomes a practice of listening, understanding, connecting, and supporting yourself from the inside out.
-
One of the reasons I love Yin Yoga is because it gives us permission to slow down in a world that rarely encourages it, something that I see as vital when you're trying to conceive.
Whether you're trying naturally, preparing for IVF, or navigating the emotional rollercoaster of fertility treatment, Yin Yoga offers a space to pause, breathe and reconnect with your body during what can often feel like an overwhelming journey.
While Yin Yoga isn't a treatment for infertility or magic cure, many women find it becomes an important part of their fertility journey, offering emotional support, helping them regulate stress, and providing a regular opportunity to reconnect with themselves and their bodies.
-
Holding poses for several minutes allows the body to gently access the deeper connective tissues, while also giving the nervous system an opportunity to settle.
Rather than rushing from one posture to the next, Yin invites you to slow down, observe your sensations and practice being with yourself. Often, it's in this stillness that the deepest shifts take place.
-
Many of my students report a great and deep sleep after Yin Yoga. It is a great way to disconnect from your day and into a more restorative, night-time energy (a yin energy).
From both a nervous system and Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, sleep is deeply connected to how safe, balanced and regulated the body feels. During class, we work not only with the physical body but also with the meridian system, helping to create the conditions for rest, relaxation and restoration.
While Yin Yoga isn't a treatment for insomnia or sleep disorders, many students notice that practising regularly helps them feel calmer, more relaxed and better able to unwind before bed.
-
Even one class a week can make a noticeable difference.
Like anything, consistency is more important than intensity. Some people enjoy practising weekly, while others like to weave shorter Yin sessions into their daily routine, especially before bed to support sleep.
Listening to your body is always more important than following a rigid schedule.
-
If you have booked in and you're unable to attend a live online class, you'll receive access to the recording so you can practice at a time that suits you. The recording is available for 7-days. The recording is sent out the day after the live class (Wednesday’s).
-
Yes. If you're booked onto one of my online Yin Yoga classes, you'll receive access to the class recording the next day. You can also access the recordings via the Inside Out Studio.
Many students enjoy returning to the same practice several times, noticing something different with each experience.
-
This is more common than you might think. Our bodies can hold onto stress, tension and emotion, and creating the space to slow down can sometimes allow those feelings to surface.
My classes are designed to be a safe, supportive space where you can honour whatever arises, whether that's deep relaxation, emotion or simply a much-needed exhale.
TRE (Trauma & Tension Releasing Exercises) and Unwinding
-
TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) is a body-based somatic practice that helps your nervous system release stress and tension through natural, involuntary tremors.
Created by trauma therapist, Dr David Berceli, TRE® works with your body's innate wisdom rather than asking you to think, analyse or talk your way through your experiences. The tremors are a natural reflex that help the body release tension and move towards greater regulation and balance.
While the foundations of my teaching are rooted in Dr Berceli's TRE® method, you'll find my classes have their own unique feel. Rather than focusing on the traditional exercise sequence of TRE®, I guide you through slow, embodied movement that encourages you to connect with your body before gently inviting the tremors and release.
My approach is also shaped by my background in Yin Yoga, women's health, Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. I weave this all together to help you not only experience TRE®, but also develop a deeper understanding of your body and how to support it from the inside out.
-
When we experience stress, our bodies naturally prepare to protect us. If that stress isn't fully processed, the body can continue holding onto tension and stress long after the event has passed.
TRE® gently activates the body's natural tremor mechanism, allowing your nervous system to release stored tension and return towards a state of regulation.
Rather than forcing relaxation, TRE® creates the conditions for your body to feel safe enough to let go in its own time.
-
In the first half of the class, you'll be guided through gentle, embodied movement to help you drop into your body. In the second half, the release part of the practice, you'll then be guided into a comfortable position to help activate the natural tremors.
Throughout the session, I'll support you in staying connected to your body and teach you how to regulate the intensity of your experience, pause whenever you need to, and finish feeling grounded.
-
TRE® offers a body-first (bottoms up) approach to stress. Rather than asking your mind to work harder or to process and to logically understand something, a past trauma for example, it supports your nervous system in releasing physical tension and rediscovering a greater sense of ease.
My work also draws on Traditional Chinese Medicine, which sees prolonged stress as something that affects the whole body, not just the mind. By combining nervous system education, embodiment and TCM principles, I help you better understand why stress can show up as muscle tension, disrupted sleep, digestive changes, hormonal symptoms or emotional overwhelm, and how creating space for regulation can support your overall wellbeing.
-
Women's bodies are constantly adapting through different stages of life, from menstruation and fertility to pregnancy, postpartum and perimenopause. Stress can have a profound impact on how we experience these transitions, on our hormones and mental health.
TRE® offers a gentle way to support nervous system regulation, bring balance to the body and reconnect with yourself and your body during times that can feel physically and emotionally demanding.
My approach is informed by Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, which view women's health through the lens of balance, cyclical rhythms and the interconnectedness of body and mind, and emotions and physical health. With this in mind, TRE® could also support women’s health through increased blood flow and circulation to the whole body, especially the uterus, reducing inflammation, regulating the nervous system, encouraging repair through deep sleep, and supporting the free flow of Qi.
While TRE® alone is not a treatment for infertility or women’s health conditions, and there is no research to support practising TRE for women – surprise surprise (!), I have many incredible stories from the women I have worked with who have found TRE® to be an invaluable part of their self-care, emotional support and stress management tool box.
-
Many of the women who find their way to TRE® tell me a similar story: "I've done years of talking therapy. I understand why I feel the way I do, but my body still feels anxious, tense or stuck."
Talking therapies are incredibly valuable and can help us make sense of our experiences. This is often referred to as a top-down approach, where we use the thinking brain to understand, process and create change.
TRE® works from the opposite direction. It's a bottom-up approach, meaning we begin with the body rather than the mind.
When we experience stress, trauma or prolonged overwhelm, it's not only our thoughts that are affected. The nervous system and body can continue to carry the imprint of those experiences long after we've intellectually understood them. Through the body's natural tremor mechanism, TRE® helps release stored tension and supports the nervous system in returning to a greater sense of regulation.
This is one of the reasons many people find TRE® such a powerful complement to therapy. Rather than asking you to revisit or retell your story, it allows your body to do what it has always been designed to do: release tension, restore balance and reconnect with its natural capacity for regulation.
-
There are many ways to support our wellbeing, and each has its place.
A top-down approach starts with the mind. Practices such as talking therapy, counselling and coaching help us understand our thoughts, emotions and experiences to create change.
A bottom-up approach starts with the body. Stress and trauma don't just affect our thoughts, they also live in our nervous system. This is why you might know you're safe, but your body still feels anxious, overwhelmed or stuck.
TRE® is a bottom-up practice. Rather than asking you to analyse your experiences, it works with your body's natural tremor mechanism to release tension and support nervous system regulation.
-
There are a few different ways you can begin your TRE® journey, depending on the level of support you're looking for.
Unwinding – An online programme, where you'll learn TRE® alongside Yin Yoga, and women’s health education, in a small, supportive group.
1:1 Sessions – Ideal if you'd prefer personalised guidance, have specific health concerns, or would like individual support as you learn and develop your practice. These are only available online at the moment.
Retreats – All of my retreat offers include TRE. On retreat you will experience TRE® over a number of days as part of a deeper immersive experience. Retreats combine TRE with Acupuncture, Yin Yoga, embodiment, rest and connection, giving you the time and space to truly unwind.
If you're unsure which option is right for you, I'd be happy to help you find the best place to start
-
Unwinding is an online group programme that combines TRE®, Yin Yoga, women’s health education and embodiment practices into one supportive journey.
What makes Unwinding different is that we don't just learn how to tremor - we explore why your body responds the way it does. Drawing on my background in Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture and women's health, you'll begin to understand the connections between stress, your nervous system, your hormones, your emotions and your physical health.
It is far more than releasing tension. It's about learning to understand your body from the inside out, so you leave with practical tools and a deeper trust in your body's innate capacity to heal and regulate.
The programme includes live TRE® sessions, Yin Yoga classes, educational resources, a one-to-one session with me and lifetime access to on-demand practices, all within a small, supportive group of women.
Retreats
-
My retreats are for women who are ready to slow down, reconnect with themselves and step away from the demands of everyday life.
Many of the women who join are navigating stress, burnout, life transitions, hormonal changes, fertility journeys or simply the feeling that they've become disconnected from themselves.
You don't need to be "good at yoga" or have experience with TRE® or acupuncture, just an openness to show up exactly as you are.
-
Yes—and most women do. Coming on your own can feel daunting, but it's often one of the most empowering parts of the experience. You'll quickly become part of a supportive group of like-minded women, while still having plenty of space for rest and reflection if that's what you need.
Equally, friends, mothers and daughter, or sisters come together. This can also be an amazing experience and thing to share with one another.
There is no right or wrong way to retreat, just the one that works best for you.
-
Every retreat I offer is slightly different, but you can expect a gentle balance of movement, rest, nourishment and connection.
Your days may include Yin Yoga, TRE®, acupuncture, workshops, nourishing meals, time in nature and plenty of free time to relax, read, swim or simply do nothing at all.
Nothing is ever compulsory, and you're always encouraged to listen to your body and honour what you need.
-
My retreats are about far more than a relaxing weekend away or a traditional yoga retreat
Everything I offer is grounded in my inside-out approach, combining Yin Yoga, TRE®, nervous system education and the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine to help you reconnect with your body.
Rather than focusing on fixing yourself, you'll learn to understand your body, regulate your nervous system and leave with practical tools you can continue using long after the retreat has ended.
-
Absolutely. In fact, rest is an essential part of the retreat experience.
You won't find a packed itinerary or a schedule full of back-to-back classes, life at home is busy enough. I've intentionally created space for you to slow down and relax.
Alongside our sessions, there is plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings, lie in the sunshine, take a walk, read a book, have a massage, swim or simply do nothing at all.
Interestingly, it's often these spacious moments that people find the most challenging at first. But with time, they often become the most transformative, offering the opportunity to truly rest, reconnect and hear what their body has been trying to tell them.
-
If you're longing to slow down, reconnect with yourself and step away from the busyness of everyday life and spend time in a supportive sisterhood, then my retreat offerings are for you.
Whether you're navigating stress, a life transition, trying to conceive, heart break, grief, or simply craving space to breathe, my retreats offer an opportunity to reconnect with your body and support yourself from the inside out.
If you're unsure, you're always welcome to get in touch. I offer free hello chats with anyone who is interested in my retreats. I'd love to chat and help you decide whether a retreat feels like the right fit.
-
Yes. I know that investing in yourself can feel like a big decision, which is why payment plans are available for all of my retreats. Details can be found on each retreat page, or feel free to get in touch if you'd like to discuss your options.
-
Absolutely. My retreats aren't about escaping your life, they're about helping you return to it feeling more connected and equipped. You'll leave with practical tools, practices and a deeper understanding of your body, so the benefits can continue long after the retreat ends. Plus, a great new community of women!
